At Koneri Associates we understand that finding products that work with your disability rather than against it can sometimes be a bit of a challenge and this is why part of our bi-weekly blog will be dedicated to product promotion. We believe that accessibility and inclusiveness should cover all areas of life including some which might not be as obviously inaccessible as others.
Clothing, for example, can at times be inaccessible due to the type of material that is used, and some disabled individuals have to purchase sizes bigger than they themselves actually are in order to make it easier for them to wear the garments in question. This is something we at Koneri Associates are willing to bet is not on a lot of people’s radar so we would like to take some time to celebrate the products we think work well for individuals with disabilities. However - we don’t just want to talk about clothing, we want to talk about products such as blankets, mobility aids and hygiene products. Anything and everything that could make the lives of disabled individuals just that little bit easier.
